According to Founder Rob Schmidt, ProjectBoobies.com aims to develop awareness for early breast cancer detection and The Kokolulu Farm & Cancer Retreat non-profit through its efforts.
“With Project Boobies, we’ve developed a new line of breast cancer shirts that are geared to spotlight the need for people to be aware of their bodies to catch breast cancer early and make a difference. We wanted a name and logo that jumped out at you and that made you realize this is a great way to get something accomplished.”
The recent controversy surrounding mammograms means it is more important than ever for people to be aware of body changes. While October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this horrible disease does not stop during other months. The sad statistics are a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes and a woman dies every 13 minutes. A little know statistic is approximately 2,000 US men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer with about 450 dying each year. The goal of ProjectBoobie.com breast cancer clothes is to make a difference any way we can.
“We are so thankful that Cassandra Lynn chose to help our cause and hopefully other celebrities will join in our fight to help Kokolulu Farm and Cancer Retreat help cancer survivors win the mental cancer battle.”
The starting bid for each of the 4 breast cancer shirts up for auction is $100 with the auctions closing October 25th at midnight. The auction features different sized shirts in case some people decide they would like to wear the autographed shirts or if they would like to display a breast cancer shirt in a frame.
The breast cancer shirt auction can be found on the projectboobies.com website. Cassandra Lynn and/or ProjectBoobies.com breast cancer clothes Founder Rob Schmidt are available for media interviews. For more information or to bid in the auction, go to the Web site or call (888) 957-4678.
